Well, I couldn't stand it one more day, I just had to start a 30 STM thread. I am a huge music buff & right now they are at the top of my list to see live if they ever get their butts to Houston.

& by the way, for all you Highway fans, Jared Leto who was Jack Hayes in the movie is their front man, so check them out asap.

I'm a 30 fan. I'm a little pissed at Jared, though, I have to admit. I went to see their show for the first time this year. I was STOKED cause its kind of a known fact that Jared likes to play in Denver a lot. It was like the worst show ever. No joke. Their most recent album employs "The Summit" (basically a huge crowd of people singing and they put it on their album) so we had to do a lot of the singing. They were also filming the video for one of their songs at the time and we had to sing the same phrase of that song over and over for literally 10 minutes. Plus the lighting was terrible so I could barely see him, and the person I went with didn't help matters. But I still love them and I hope they come back and do a show that melts my face. I'm glad they won a VMA too.

Thanks guys for posting the link for voting. I have been trying to vote as much as possible myself, but I have been away from the computer a lot the last couple of days. I sure hope they win these awards! I was mega disappointed that they didn't win all the VMA's they were nominated for. Definitely should have beat Gaga for best video of the year. They were robbed! 
I'm really looking forward to the new release of This Is War on Nov 2nd as it will have a DVD with it. Since I haven't seen them live yet & may never, (if they never bring their cute asses to Houston, that is), then at least the DVD will let me see them on stage. Better than nothing!

yep Gagas Video really wasn't as near as good as K+Q
And I really want them to win all the EMAs ... I mean loosing against ladyboys of Tokio Hotel is def not an option

loool NSA you -accidentally- just told me what kind of milk he was talking about ... I was like "WTF kinda milk??" ... why must he mumble (often) but luv him anyways - no matter that almond milk and tofu (yuck)
