& here is a little blurb of what Anne said this morning:Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, More React To Golden Globe Noms
Hollywood's leading ladies also expressed excitement about their nominations. "When the phone rang this morning, it was my mom telling me I was nominated — I was thrilled! Well, loopy and thrilled," said "Love and Other Drugs" star Anne Hathaway, who's up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. "I've been traveling and jet lag had me wide awake watching 'Mad Men' all night. So I might celebrate by going back to sleep. Or by watching another episode (it's so good! Damn you, Draper ... ) And I'm so happy and proud to share this honor with Jake! Thanks, Hollywood Foreign Press!"Source: www.mtv.com/news/articles/1654251/20101214/story.jhtml

& here's the latest from Jake about the GG nom reported to EW.com:Jake Gyllenhaal exclusive: Anne Hathaway's congratulatory text to her Golden Globe-nominated costarOne of the happiest results from this morning’s Golden Globe nominations in my mind was the recognition of Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway for their terrific performances in the comedic drama Love & Other Drugs. I had the pleasure of interviewing them together for our EW cover story and enjoyed seeing their unique friendship first-hand. Now that they’re both Golden Globe nominees (for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical), Gyllenhaal — who’s never gotten a Globe nod before, strangely — got on the phone to discuss his competition (including two Johnny Depp performances, Alice in Wonderland and The Tourist) and what Hathaway had to say when she texted him after the big news.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You’ve had an Oscar nomination, a SAG Award nomination, and you’ve won a BAFTA. What took you so long with the Golden Globes? JAKE GYLLENHAAL: [Laughs] It’s such a random thing! The irony of this one is that it isn’t the typical awards-season fare. Most movies that are acknowledged during awards season tend to be darker, and what’s special about this nomination is that it’s something about romance and hope.
So who’s your biggest competition for the win: Johnny Depp or Johnny Depp? Right? Tell me about it. It’s a celebrity deathmatch with twin Johnny Depps. It’s pretty awesome that he was nominated twice. He’s such a badass.
I know you and Anne love to text each other all the time. So have you texted with her today? She texted me this morning and I haven’t texted her back yet! Her text was…hold on a second, I’m going to grab my phone and I’ll tell you. This is an exclusive, hold on. [Rustles around for his phone.] She said, “Dude! Exclamation point. Congrats! Millions of exclamation points. You did it! Exclamation points. First Golden Globe nom, right? Millions of question marks. X.”
Wow, she knows her stuff. She knows her awards history. It’s nice because the last movie we did [Brokeback Mountain] was acknowledged with awards. There’s something about us working together that seems to feel good and feel right.

& in Variety, Jake's nomination reaction:Jake Gyllenhaal nommed for his perf in "Love and Other Drugs" read the news on his iPhone after several phone calls woke him up.
"It was almost delivered by messenger" he said, but he would have appreciated a more theatrical method. "I would have loved to have had it delivered by some person in Shakespeare garb." As the subject of clothing, or lack thereof, came up, the thesp talked about all the attention paid to the pic's nude scenes.
"There's been so much made about the nude scene, but the most important part of the film to me was the intimacy between the two characters" he said. He's glad for the attention paid to the film.
"In the entertainment industry we feel so insular. It's so nice on a day like today, to see how far-reaching something like this is."

Here are some scans courtesy of IHJ from American Cinematographer Mag that show a lot about the filming of the movie, pretty interesting about the technical aspects of making a movie: (these are clickable thumbnails, click thru each one twice to make it the biggest)

I can't seem to stop posting anything on LAOD regardless of what appears to be a severe lack of interest in it anymore, so if anyone is STILL interested at all, here you go:
First another video interview this time from the BBC, (not embeddable here, so click thru the link): Hathaway: Nudity won't put off 'more conservative' fans Anne Hathaway doesn't think the "risky" nudity in her new movie Love & Other Drugs will put off more conservative audiences in America.
Co-star Jake Gyllenhaal plays a womanising salesman who falls in love for the first time with Hathaway's character.
He says the "emotional comedy" - out in the UK on 29 December - is in the mould of Tom Cruise's Jerry Maguire.
Here's a short video interview from ITV2 in the UK with Jake talking about his pager codes way back when:
A couple of interviews to read, the 1st one from Time Out London with Jake: Jake Gyllenhaal: Sea, sex and 'Source Code'
This 2nd one is from Script Mag with Ed Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz, & Charles Randolph: Love & Other Drugs: Conversations with Edward Zwick, Marshall Herskovitz & Charles Randolph
Here's a transcript of the LAOD press conference in the UK a few weeks ago from Bleeding Cool: Love and Other Drugs – More Total Recall Than Love Story?
& a couple of great LAOD reviews from the UK: Love & Other Drugs is an odd combo that works
This one is very short & sweet: Review: Love & Other Drugs
I'm throwing in this radio clip from Dublin's 98 FM, although the first part about Jake is nothing but sheer gossip that is supposedly untrue according to the reports from his reps. Reason for posting this is Jake's actual interview where he talks about cooking starting at about the 55 second mark which is really worth listening to: 98 FM's The Gossip Girl
& finally the odds on who will win the GG's: Golden Globe Odds Released They give better odds for Jake to win than for Anne, hmmm, I don't quite understand that one...

& one last interview with Ed Zwick on LAOD from HeyUGuys in the UK. I hate their crappy review of the movie though, I was very disappointed in their opinion of it, but I appreciate the fact that they posted an interview with the director today. You're welcome, Monica! & I was so pleased to see you were able to post on your blog the latest for LAOD opening in Brazil & their official site plus the LAOD Brazilian FB too. Finally a great move, Fox. About time they did better marketing, although I think they should have started it a little sooner than now. Hopefully it will do better in SA than in the states. But to it's defense, they dropped it down to only 144 theaters in less than 4 weeks & it was still doing pretty well. It did way better than some movies that opened recently. & even better in my opinion, it beat out RW's new movie by a landslide, hers flopped big time. hah. ;D

I so love this, Moviefone has listed the kitchen sex scene of LAOD as one of 2010's Sexiest Movie Scenes, it actually made #2!!! Only Black Swan's scene with Natalie & Mila beat it at #1.
Here's a link to the story & it has clips from all the scenes that made the cut, (click thru the link):10 Sexiest Movie Scenes of 2010Which movie sex scenes were the steamiest in 2010? The ones that made our top 10 list include a scene where two ballerinas get hot and heavy, another with a red-hot kitchen encounter and one so racy it earned a film a dreaded NC-17 rating.
We've also got the hottest skin-baring moments and what we're sure most fanboys will agree is the sexiest action scene of the year.
And, as a kind of cinematic cold shower, we've rounded up five of the year's least sexy scenes. We're looking at you, Rob Schneider, Tina Fey and Rob Corddry.
2. The Kitchen Sex Scene ('Love & Other Drugs') Hats off (as well as shoes, shirts and everything else) to Anne Hathaway, who cheerfully embraces the notion that youve got to strip for your art. Her nude scenes are plentiful in this romantic comedy drama, but it's her heated, half-dressed first encounter with Jake Gyllenhaal in the kitchen that earns them a place on this list. (See a teaser at 1:04 in the trailer.)

& today a couple of more video interviews, written interviews, & reviews from overseas, click thru the links...
First up a video interview with Ed Zwick from The Telegraph in UK. FYI, I liked this, but one of their other critics gave it a pretty crummy review, so to heck with that.
Director Ed Zwick tells Telegraph film critic Marc Lee why Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway had to be naked in his new film Love and Other Drugs, and the challenges of dealing with Parkinson's disease on film.
Ed Zwick: Gyllenhaal and Hathaway had to be naked
A video interview from France with Jake & Anne, (in English w/ French subtitles): Anne Hathaway> Videos> Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway Interview: Love and Other Drugs
Then some written interviews from Jake & Anne, click thru the links: Jake Gyllenhaal talks casual sex
Princess Anne
Gyllenhaal: 'Hathaway wanted to bed me'
Anne Hathaway researched Parkinson's for 'Love & Other Drugs'
& three decent reviews: TWO PERVS AT THE MOVIES – LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS
