If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have even know Dill is history. And I know she's busy too with things, so my hat's off to both of you.

Oh, and I officially "ignored" Vanessa's invite to the official page today. Nothing against Vanessa, I just don't want anything to do with that page. Now or ever. I'm glad I have all of you to share Jake adorations and frustrations. And I'm thankful for this forum where I'm sure I'll gush about L&OD when it comes out.

Hey Katie, sorry about that invite, it was from a while back when Becky wanted us to help build the "likes" for the official page, I just sent that to every one of my friends on FB automatically. So no big deal here. I just feel like we all got taken advantage of by that dude & it does irritate me quite a bit, plus I have really recently noticed his way of playing favorites on the official page & totally blowing off ISJ & Becky. I need to go unlike the page myself now. I was just delaying that move hoping maybe he might have come through finally. Evidently he has not. So, that's that for me.

I will be right here myself gushing over the movie too. I am very glad that I have found lots of others to share this with. Hugs to you Katie!

I feel like that sums up so many of my own feelings on all of this. It's just not fun to keep up with this movie right now, and I have been treated this *exact same way* by everyone from the guy who (used to?) run Jake's official site to Jake's PR people to the Gyllenhaals themselves. More than anything, I'm just embarrassed that I jumped into this again like I thought something would be different this time around... (WHEN will I learn?!)

I put up a new blog entry today which says as much... But I also want to say that I don't want anyone to feel obligated to un-Like it on my behalf and I certainly don't have any hard feelings about there not being another page because I wasn't up to keeping up with the first one.

And sorry for all the drama. It's apparently not actually possible for me to do anything Jake-related and not wind up with a controversy or two...

To be fair, it's cuz I never use Facebook on a desktop. ;] But, but I did use a desktop to "Like" ISJ's page.
