Yay!!! Thanks for that info, Monica! I know Sam will be happy to hear that about Australia. Hopefully Mexico will get a similar release date, if not sooner.

I'm actually excited about this movie, and I haven't been excited about a Jake movie in a while now I have to confess, so that says something. lol I have no idea when it opens in Sweden but hopefully in a near future, because I really want to see this one.

Looks like Dill hit puberty recently. HAHAHA!!! I am still laughing over this... I totally join in on the general excitement over this movie and agree with Cina in that wanting to see a Jake movie this much is something I haven't experienced in a while. Thanks for the release dates!!! I'm really glad they seem to be generally close to each other, as opposed to nine months apart or whatever the hell it was with Rendition...

yey!!!!!!! so its juanuary 14 for mexico ill have to wait Yay Sophie! So glad you will get it pretty soon anyway! It just seems so not fair that other countries have to wait longer than we do in the states to get US made movies. But on the other hand, we here in the states have to wait longer to get foreign films too. I watch a lot of foreign films, so that never seems fair to me to have to wait for those either. Like Source Code, Empire Magazine reported last month it would be released in the UK in March, but IMDb shows that it will be released in April here in the states. I don't quite understand that one though, because it was filmed in Chicago (& Canada) with American actors, but the director is British, so maybe that's why?

This is killing me.
1st, I don't know when it'll be released, or perhaps it will never be released (like many other movies) 2nd, if it's finally here at last, and considering all the news about nudity, I do sense censorship (like it does to ALL movies)
Gaaah! Probably I'd better stop waiting for the theater release date and start searching for the DVD release date instead.

Wow, I just read this online that was taken from the new November issue of Vogue that Anne is in. This is really interesting. I think I may have to go to the book store & check out this latest issue to see what else she says. ;D
Anne Hathaway "Fell Apart" Doing Sex Scenes With Jake Gyllenhaal
"This movie certainly has a lot of nerve," Hathaway, 27, tells the November issue of Vogue.
In the film, Hathaway plays a free-spirit named Maggie who hooks up with a Viagra salesman named Jamie (Gyllenhaal) -- roles that required both actors to strip for the cameras.
"These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off -- in a way, their bodies are their currency," she explains. "But they're terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked."
But Hathaway admits that unlike her character, she didn't feel nearly as comfortable exposing herself emotionally and sexually.
"I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day," she says. "I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I'm used to. I’m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart."
But fortunately for the actress, she had a new man in her life to help her pick up the pieces: actor Adam Shulman.
"We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together," Hathaway recalls. After they realized they were both single, the actress reveals that "thing sped up a bit -- and I think I'll leave it at that."

Well, I finally discovered that Vogue is kindly allowing us to read the whole article online, so I don't need to go to the bookstore just for this. I love Anne & can't wait to see this movie, just about a little over 4 more weeks for the states. I wish everyone could see it together!
Here is a link to the whole article at Vogue if anyone is interested in reading it: www.vogue.com/magazine/article/november-cover-anne-hathaway/

I absolutely adore these kinds of reviews that I just read on Punch Drunk Critics blog. I think I just fell in love with writer John Nolan. He writes:
"I'll be honest and say that this is one of my favorite films of the year so far. The movie presents a real world look at a couple brought together no matter how much they try to fight it. Genuinely funny, tragically romantic, and unflinchingly erotic, Love & Other Drugs delivers on more fronts than any other movie of it's kind."
