Whoo-hoo! Thanks for the heads up on that, Monica. Glad to hear we at least are getting it a couple of weeks sooner here. I am really looking forward to this movie myself. It looks like it is going to be a "blast"!

I finally saw the trailer for this. I am excited for it. The written description of it seemed not good, but the trailer clarified it.

Well, the latest news on this one that I have seen recently is a favorite composer of mine, Clint Mansell, will be doing the score for SC. He not only has teamed up with Duncan Jones already for Moon, (which was an excellent movie), but he also seems to be a favorite of Aronofsky's, who directed Black Swan that I just saw. Very dark but beautiful movie & the music was excellent. So, everything is looking really good so far on SC.
Also, it has been picked to open the SXSW Film Festival in my neighboring city, Austin, TX on March 11, 2011. I would love to go to the film fest, but it all depends on the funds available in a couple of months. If it looks like Jake & Michelle will be in attendance at the film fest, I may very well find a way to go though whether I am cash poor or not. I sure wouldn't mind seeing them in person at a press conference or something similar. I really like her in the movies I have seen her in & also Vera Farmiga. I first saw her in the TV series, Roar, with Heath Ledger long ago. I have seen her in several roles since then, the most recent being Up in the Air. So, any of them being in attendance would be an excellent trip for me, not to mention, seeing the movie early. I guess we shall see!

Here's something from Hey U Guys posted yesterday:New International Trailer for Duncan Jones’ Source CodeHere’s the brand new international trailer for Duncan Jones’ Source Code which Summit have just sent over, Source Code is his follow-up feature film to his first feature-length masterpiece, Moon and stars Jake Gyllenhaal.
Synopsis: Directed by Duncan Jones (MOON) SOURCE CODE centers on a soldier (Jake Gyllenhaal, JARHEAD) who, as part of an experimental government program to investigate a terrorist incident, finds himself in the body of an unknown commuter living and reliving a harrowing train bombing until he can find out who is responsible for it.
This new trailer is similar to the domestic one released a little while ago but gives us a few new bits to look at! Source Code also stars Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright, Russell Peters and is released in the UK 11th March.Official site: www.enterthesourcecode.com/

SOURCE CODE. SO EXCITED. I like the trailers, except I think it gives too much away...
BUT THEN AGAIN, NOT REALLY. The twist at the end is pretty gnarly.

Wow, I have really missed this place lately. I have been crazy with all kinds of stuff going on for the past week & just now saw this new poster for Source Code that is actually fan art, & Duncan Jones retweeted it, so it isn't the official poster, but he seemed impressed with it. It's different & interesting to say the least. He also stated on Twitter that he has finished the movie & it is on target for April 1st for the US release.

The fanart poster has such a wonderful 50s-60s retro look! The chicks on each thigh at the crotch - very interesting!

OK, ISJer's, I have been sick like a dog the past several days, but I wanted to get over here finally today & post the most recent news about SC.
I got this the other day about the guys at Collider sitting in on a very long interview with Duncan Jones & they have done a video blog about it that is over 11 minutes long if you want to watch it, scroll down about halfway after the trailer > Duncan Jones Interview SOURCE CODE; Plus Edit Bay Visit Video Blog
They have the transcript of the interview on the page as well if you want to read it & here is a link to the entire audio of the interview which is downloadable too > Duncan Jones talks Source Code
There is also news that Clint Mansell will no longer do the score for the movie, it is now being done by Chris Bacon, I just hope he does it justice. Mansell is an excellent composer & recently did the score for Black Swan, which I thought was great, & he did the score for Duncan's other recent critically acclaimed film, "Moon". Chris Bacon recently did the score for Alpha & Omega & has done a lot of extra composing on several excellent movies over the years, so I have high hopes for it.
Here are a few clickable thumbnails that are very large pics so click thru twice:
Here's another transcription of an interview with Duncan Jones on SC at comingsoon.net > Source Code Edit Bay Visit
I haven't read both yet, so not sure if they are the same interview or not. Here are some stills from the movie & screencaps from the trailer courtesy of IHJ, (click thru twice):
& of course here is the official website for the movie: Source Code
I can't wait to see this movie, it looks excellent!

Awww, I hope you're feeling better, Vanessa! Rest up! Thanks, KD, I feel OK now, but have a nasty cough still.
Resting up definitely did not happen for me this weekend. I had to go see my best friend's son's rock band play last night, then today my sister & brother took me out for a belated b-day get together, movie (Country Strong AGAIN), & late lunch at Carrabba's.
Damn, I could watch Garrett in that movie like a gazillion times. OMG, he sings so damn good, plus he is so gorgeous. I still hope he & LM get together eventually even tho' their reps are denying they are, I wouldn't doubt it if they do sooner or later. Major chemistry there.

LORD, I know how you feel. Last year I had pnuemonia during my Finals. I ended up not studying and taking my finals tripped up on antibiotics and various other narcotics...
I don't even REMEMBER taking my finals, that's how out I wa.
Have you seen the doctors? Is it just a normal cold or flu?

Thanks for the concern, KD, but I rarely go to doctors unless I feel like I'm dying. I am better now, still have a cough, a bit of bronchitis, but am on the mend already, I can tell.
